Day 5: West Cork
West Cork stole a piece of my heart last October and I have yet to find a place in Ireland that brings as much peace as this gorgeous region. If you happen to visit this area be sure to spend a night at the Top of the Rock Pods and take a hike along Sheep’s Head Way (my favorite hike in all of Ireland).

Hiking an ancient pilgrims way brought out a part of me I never even knew existed. Today hiking the most western part of the Sheep’s head equaled to the best hike I have ever done. #instaireland #ig_ireland #pocket_ireland #visitireland #irelandaily

Day 6: Kerry and Dingle
The ring of Kerry is famous among tourists in Ireland and as a result, is quite busy. I haven’t visited the region yet (looking to go in June!), but this post from Travel Fearlessly does a great job of showcasing the differences between the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula . If you can only squeeze in one, be sure to check it out! And if you are up for a rocky boat ride, be sure to check out The Whole World is a Playground’s post on the Skellig Michael . Personally, I’m dying to go horseback riding in Dingle so might have to prioritize Dingle over Kerry in June!
Tour around the Gap of Dunloe

Really, Ireland? Really!? 😍🇮🇪 Hiked & Ran the glorious 11km Gap of Dunloe today and it made my heart soar. Unspeakable beauty. But the highlight of my day was the sweet driver who took pity on my stupid ass after I missed the last bus back to town and squeezed me into his coach along with 20 lawyers from Dublin on a team-building trip 😂 Travel is amazing, but the Irish people are even better. I love this country.

Day 7: Aran Islands
If you are prone to seasickness or don’t like flying on a tiny plane, the Aran Islands might not be the place for you. But, if you can manage either one of these be sure to check out these perfect islands. Learn more on my post detailing our experience ferrying over to Inishmore .
Dare to hang over the edge on the cliffs
The unprotected cliffs on Inishmore, the largest of the Aran Islands, give you a sense for life on the edge. How close would you get to the edge of these towering cliffs? Cycle around beautiful Inishmore
Sitting pretty in Galway Bay are the Aran Islands, a trio of islands criss-crossed with dry stone walls, prehistoric forts and Irish-speaking communities. National Geographic named these limestone outcrops one of the world’s top island destinations, and said, “That this feeling, this authenticity, has survived the modern world is nothing short of miraculous.
